Challenge #4: 30 for 30

This isn’t really my challenge, per se, but someone else’s that I’m participating in.I’ve been reading Kendi’s blog for awhile now, but I’ve never participated in her 30 for 30 challenges before. The idea is that you choose 30 items of clothing + shoes to wear for 30 days in various iterations, all the while promising not to buy new clothing.

…easy enough, right?

Well, I started looking around in my closet, and I realized I basically wear fewer than 30 items of clothing on a consistent basis anyway. How boring! I pretty much wear jeans and a top every day to work, plus comfy shoes in case I need to chase after someone. It’s such a boring combination. I rarely wear any sort of jewelry because it’s either a) distracting or b) going to be ripped off my clothes or broken by one of my wee ones.

Boring.

So. I’m going to pick my 30 for 30 (gotta branch out a little bit, haha), and I’m going to pick at least a few non-work-friendly items. I keep saying I feel frumpy, but I don’t make any effort to dress up or anything on weekends, either. Now I’m going to try to force myself, so we’ll see how that turns out. I’m also going to a conference on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, so I can at least dress up somewhat since I won’t be rolling around on the floor, chasing down kids, or being used as someone’s Kleenex (I hope).

I’m going to post my outfits (should be easy since I take a daily photo anyway) on Wednesday and Saturday this week, but I’ll probably continue posting them over the next few weeks too, since this does go for the month of February. I think I’m going to go make sure everything’s clean….

It might be food, exercise, travel, or beauty related. Be sure to participate each week so that you can have too much of a good thing. I'm Jen. I'm a speech therapist in Arizona who likes to make stuff, cook delicious food, and complete items from my list of 101 Things to Do in 1001 Days. This blog is just another way for me to focus on doing things that make my life even more wonderful.
